FACTSnet is a network founded by FACTS (Family And Community Twining Society), Société de Tourisme Centralta/Centralta Tourism Society and Collaborative Information Networks. Our goal is the promotion of community networking and the facilitation of community dialogues through various forms of communication including in person and online dialogue. FACTSnet has over a hundred blogs that cater to specific communities, such as social groups, and schools.
Our networks are mostly developed by summer students in conjunction with anyone who would like to participate. Currently, we are working on Canada 2017 Networks, in celebration of Canada’s 150th anniversary. Participants in these networks can discuss aspects of heritage, mental health issues, francophone culture and access resources for non-profit organizations.
